Coming from humble beginnings of a single income family, Andre started playing music in Durham Middle School Concert Band playing the euphonium at the age of 11. He later would fill in and switch to tuba and continue to play through high school and college. Along the way, he taught himself guitar, bass guitar, drums, trombone, trumpet, saxophone, piano, and cello. In 10th grade he joined the Allatoona High School Orchestra playing the cello while also playing tuba in the school’s band. At this point, he learned he had a passion for music theory and he began reading music theory books and composing sheet music of original pieces and arrangements of songs for a full orchestra. In his senior year at Tucker High School, to fill in the absence, he taught himself double bass and played it in the orchestra and concert band, played euphonium and tuba in concert band and sang in the school’s choir. He then would go on to further his musical training by attending Georgia State University.

Now Andre plays 18 instruments, teaches private lessons at a local music school, works audio engineering for multiple venues and bands, plays at 5 monthly jams, co-hosts a weekly open mic, is in 5 active bands playing a variety of instruments and plays solo acoustic classic rock covers.
